This week I have two FREE Christmas Story downloads for you! They are both fictional stories, teaching children about character and principles.
Halloween’s over! Time for Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff! So this week I have not one, but two FREE Christmas story book downloads! Exciting, right?
This is one of the first kits Muggli Graphics ever published, Piccola Christmas Story Sharing Time Kit. Piccola is one of the best-behaved children ever, but her poor parents can’t afford to get her any gifts for Christmas… so sad.
I really like what we used to call “flannelboard stories.” Except now you can use magnets, tape, or velcro board (Storyboard) to tell them, and they don’t peel off and fall on the floor. Flannel never really worked very well. Usually you use visual aids to tell a story or illustrate a concept, and since most people are visual learners, they’re pretty effective.
Pretty soon I’ll be putting up a new, improved, and exciting (well, I’m excited at least) website with FREE 2018 theme series book downloads, plus instructions to make your own Storyboard! For this week, I have two story kits that you can use for Christmas. The stories are the Nativity and the Selfish Giant, written by Oscar Wilde. Mr Wilde was a contradiction, living a less than exemplary life, but writing beautiful stories with symbols of Jesus Christ in them.
‘Tis the season for stories! I have three downloads for you of great stories. The first two are from Oscar Wilde: The Happy Prince is a favorite of mine, and I have trouble not crying when I tell it, even though I’ve told it over and over, to groups from kids to adults in a care home. It’s about sacrifice and love.
